We have launched Skype 1.2 for Windows 8 which is available to download through the Windows Store.

With version 1.2 we have introduced some new features:

Searching for contacts in      your contact listCalling Messenger      contacts from Skype for Windows 8Marking all messages as      read with a few clicks

We’ve also included a number of bug fixes and stability upgrades. Learn more about what’s new in Skype 1.2 for Windows 8.
